parkruns is a weekly, timed 5km walk, jog or run in Richmond. They take place all around the world, and our runs are open to everyone, are always free and are safe and easy to take part in.
We encourage people of every ability to take part; from those taking their first steps in running to Olympians; from juniors to those with more experience; we welcome you all.
We meet near the ‘waterdrop’ statue near the intersection of Cambie Street and River Road, and follows the riverside footpath south. The run starts at 9:00 a.m. prompt, so arrive a little beforehand.
If you want to receive a time for your run, please remember to register and print off your barcode at http://www.parkrun.ca/richmondolympic/
Each event relies 100% on volunteers, so even if running isn’t your thing, feel free to get in touch if you’d like to encourage from the sidelines and help us to run the show.
