Administrative Services and Fees

Non-Richmond residents must attend the police office in their home community.

Police Information Checks (plus $25 if fingerprints required for a Vulnerable Sector Check) $72.75
Police Information Check - Volunteering within the City of Richmond (with a Letter from the Organization) Free
Police Information Check - Volunteering outside the City of Richmond (with a Letter from the Organization) $25.00
Police Certificate $72.75
Fingerprints (plus if applicable, $25 money order or certified cheque made payable to the Receiver General of Canada)
Pardon Applications/Records Clearance/ Record of Suspension $72.75

City of Richmond Consolidated Service Fees Bylaw 8636 - Effective January 1, 2024.

Note: Fees are payable only by debit card or credit cards (Visa, MasterCard and American Express). We no longer accept cash payments. Two pieces of valid Government issued identification is required, including photo ID (BC Driver's License is best). Must be a resident of Richmond with current address on ID.

Please note: BC Driver's License combined with the BC Services Card is considered ONE piece of ID. Expired ID is not accepted.
