Discover Richmond’s parks and wildlife through our family-friendly series. Offered throughout the year, these hands-on sessions are led by local experts and provide opportunities to learn more about the natural spaces and wildlife found in our community.

Programs are free to attend, with some sessions welcoming optional donations in support of the Richmond Nature Park Society.

Nature Series: Discovery Sessions

Join a naturalist for family-friendly, hands-on fun featuring different themes throughout the year, including water bugs, hummingbirds, reptiles, amphibians and more. Presented by local experts. Registration recommended with drop-ins welcome if the space permits.
