Criteria for Posting Events

This Event Calendar is open to any Richmond organization whose events meet our Posting Criteria. Please follow the steps below to fill in the form and post events on the City of Richmond web site. Your message will be reviewed by our editor and you will be notified via e-mail if your event will be posted.

To ensure that your event has all the necessary City and Provincial permits, please review our Information for Event Planners page.

Instructions For Posting

Before you begin completing this form, view our checklist to be sure you have all the necessary information.

Use these tips to help get you listing(s) approved by our Calendar Editor.

  • Add as much detail as required
  • Refrain from using all upper case(CAPS) throughout the application (acronyms are excluded, ex. SPCA)
  • Do not use "quotation" marks in your event name
  • Check for spelling and grammatical errors
  • Obtain permission before publishing another person's contact info.

Please allow a minimum of four working days for posting.

Fields with an asterisk (*), are required fields, so they must not be omitted.
