South Dyke Doggie Park is 6.81 acre waterfront park located on the South Arm area of the Fraser River. Its main park function is as a dedicated off-leash dog area. The sizable open space offers gravel trails, benches, and public art in the form of whimsical dog caricatures.

REMINDER!
Pet owners in dogs off-leash areas adhere to the following usage guidelines:
  • Dogs must be kept under control by their owners at all times.
  • Stoop and Scoop: clean up after your dog.
  • Dog owners must carry a leash at all times.
  • All dogs must be currently and visibly licensed.
  • Dog owners must maintain effective verbal control of their dogs and always be able to see their dog when off the leash.
  • Any dog exhibiting aggressive behaviour must be leashed immediately.

    • The unique, whimiscal public art features dog cut-outs that range in size and pose between 3 to 4 ½ feet in height; consists of 4 people figures (2 talking, 1 looking, and 1 jogging); is multicolored, and is made of ½ thick steel with all edges grounded or curved.
