This free special launch event kicks off the third annual Branscombe House residency to welcome Richmond's new 2018 artist-in-residence, Keely O'Brien.
At the event, O'Brien will share examples from her career as a professional theatre artist and speak about some of the free community programs, activities and workshops she plans to offer this coming year.
The artist will live upstairs in Branscombe House, while the main floor remains a space for public programs and is available for rentals (max. capacity 30 persons; rentals@richmond.ca).
Branscombe House is located at 4900 Steveston Highway and is one of the earliest homes built in the area; as such it is significant for its historical association to Steveston and for reflecting the pattern of commercial and related residential development that occurred in Steveston’s early history.
This event is for Youth (Ages 13-18), Adult (Ages 18+) & 55+ (Ages 55 and over)
This is an accessible site.
