From July to September 2020, Minoru Artificial Turf Field will be closed for field replacement and upgrades.
Please be advised that the City will be implementing a one-way walking route during construction to help facilitate physical distancing on Clement Track. Please refer to the following
PDF map for the one-way route.
For alternate walking routes, please consider the following options,
Minoru Lakes Loop or nearby Middle Arm Waterfront Greenway, Garden City Lands or Garden City Park.
Minoru Park, the green heart of Richmond’s City Centre, features a huge variety of things to see and do. There are a variety of walking routes throughout the park including quiet, meandering walks around Minoru Lakes with beautiful floral displays and majestic trees. The premier sports facilities host major sporting events from soccer to baseball to track and field.

- A key feature in the park is Clement Track, a track and field oval used by community groups, schools and the public for track meets. Bleachers are onsite for spectator viewing.
- Beautiful annual and perennial floral displays throughout the park, particularly in the Minoru Chapel, Pierrefonds Garden and Lakes area
- Cricket Pitch available for user groups
- Gateway Theatre is located on the west side of the park near Minoru Chapel.
- Minoru Lakes and the pathways around the lakes provide a quiet retreat from the bustling City Centre
- Numerous pathways and trails connect the passive side of Minoru Park to the more athletic, sporting side of the park
- Richmond Art Gallery, Art Centre and Seniors Centre are all located in the southeast end of the park in the Richmond Cultural Centre, the hub of the Richmond Arts Community.
- Tennis practice wall is located at the public tennis court along Gilbert Road
- The largest public library in Richmond is located in the Cultural Centre building
- The park is also home to the Minoru Aquatic Centre, Minoru Ice Skating Arena and Minoru Fitness Pavillion - providing a well rounded athletic venue.
