Richmond City Council is seeking engaged and committed residents to serve on a range of Advisory Committees, Boards, and Commissions that provide valuable input on important civic matters.
These volunteer positions offer a meaningful opportunity to contribute to the development and enhancement of City policies, programs, and services. Members play a key role in advising Council on a broad spectrum of topics, including but not limited to, arts and culture, environmental sustainability, community well-being, economic development, and accessibility.
Appointments are typically for a two-year term, ending December 31 of the final year.
Application Process
- Residents interested in serving are encouraged to submit an application form, along with a resume, to the City Clerk’s Office by Friday, September 26, 2025.
