Youth Week May 1-7

Youth Week May 1-7

Celebrate Youth Week in Richmond with more than 10 activities and events

NR - 2023 Youth Week

Join us for a fun filled week of activities throughout Richmond as we celebrate Youth Week from Monday, May 1 to Sunday, May 7.

All youth are invited to bring a friend or come solo to meet new friends at the many events in the community to explore what Richmond has to offer.

“Richmond youth contribute to the city’s vibrancy and sense of community through their enthusiasm and resiliency,” says Mayor Malcolm Brodie. “Youth Week is an ideal time to collaborate with community partners to offer fun activities throughout the week to show our appreciation of youth and to acknowledge their important role in Richmond.”

Highlights of Youth Week in Richmond include:

Become familiar with and discover areas and services in your community by completing a self-guided scavenger hunt.
  • T-Shirt Design Contest: May 1 to 7
