Official Community Plan - Bylaw 9000 - Schedule 1
At the Monday, February 9, 2026 meeting, City Council adopted the updated Richmond 2050 Official Community Plan (OCP) Bylaws 10724 and 10725 including updated policies regarding transit-oriented development, housing and environmentally sensitive areas.
Based on the adopted Bylaw 10724 and Bylaw 10725 for the updated Richmond 2050 Official Community Plan, changes have occurred to the following sections and components of the OCP. City staff are working to update and publish these materials on the website:
- Bylaw 9000 - Bylaw Amendment List (To be updated)
- Table of Contents and Plan Interpretation (To be updated)
- 1.0 Moving Towards a Sustainable Community (Replaced with 1.0 A More Complete, Inclusive and Sustainable Community)
- 3.0 Connected Neighbourhoods with Special Places (Replaced with 3.0 Neighbourhoods and Housing)
- 14.0 Development Permit Guidelines (To be updated. Refer to Bylaw 10725 that amends various parts of Section 14.0 of OCP. The OCP will be revised to incorporate these amendments and this webpage will be updated accordingly.)
- 15.0 Regional Context Statement (To be updated. Refer to Schedule F of Bylaw 10724. The OCP will be revised to incorporate these amendments and this webpage will be updated accordingly.)
- 16.0 Definitions (Updated Land Use Map Definitions)
- 2041 OCP Land Use (Replaced with 2050 Land Use Map)
- 2041 OCP Environmentally Sensitive Areas (Replaced with 2050 Environmentally Sensitive Areas Map)
Adoption of Bylaw 10724 and Bylaw 10725 resulted in some administrative changes to the OCP document. City staff are working to update and publish these materials on the website.
