Richmond seeks feedback on new neighbourhood park

08 July 2022

The City is inviting the public to learn more and provide feedback on a new neighbourhood park being planned and designed for Capstan Village. The park will be approximately 0.54 hectares (1.34 acres) in size and will include a variety of components to meet the needs of this new and growing community.

From now until Sunday, August 7, visit LetsTalkRichmond.ca to learn more, complete a short survey and share thoughts on the draft park concept, including how it can be designed and programmed to meet the needs and aspirations of the community.

The park space was secured through the rezoning application by Polygon Talisman Park Ltd.

The public’s feedback will help confirm the guiding principles for park design, and will be considered in the development of final park programming and refinement of the draft park design concept. Staff will provide the draft design concept to City Council in the fall.
