Four recipients have been recognized with 2025 Richmond Heritage Awards. The awards were presented by the Richmond Heritage Commission at an event attended by local heritage organizations on Thursday, October 30, 2025 at the Chinese Bunkhouse at Britannia Shipyards National Historic Site.

The annual awards celebrate individuals and organizations for their significant contributions to conserving Richmond’s historic places and promoting awareness of the city’s diverse heritage through education, outreach and advocacy.

This year’s recipients are recognized for their unique efforts in preserving and sharing Richmond’s rich history and heritage:

  • Harold Steves for dedication and contribution to preserving Steveston’s heritage and history.
