Civic Services Notice

Richmond civic services closed for statutory holidays

City of Richmond in-person civic services will close on the following statutory holidays in 2024:

  • Friday, March 29 – Good Friday
  • Monday, April 1 – Easter Monday
  • Monday, May 20 – Victoria Day
  • Monday, July 1 – Canada Day
  • Monday, August 5 – BC Day
  • Monday, September 2 – Labour Day
  • Monday, September 30 – National Day for Truth and Reconciliation
  • Monday, October 14 – Thanksgiving Day
  • Monday, November 11 – Remembrance Day

Services will resume at 8:15am on the week day following the statutory holiday, including public access to City Hall. 

Many services remain accessible online through the City of Richmond’s website, richmond.ca, including general information, forms, schedules, bulletins and applications and renewals through MyRichmond, MyBusiness and MyPermits.
