Community Climate Leaders is a City of Richmond program that supports people who are passionate about climate action to work with their peer groups to co-create pathways that lead to a healthy, zero-carbon and resilient Richmond for all.

Leaders are expected to attend one of three training sessions on climate action in Richmond and are asked to host a climate conversation with members of their community. As a leader, you will have access to resources and funding to help you carry out your climate conversations and actions. The program is approximately a three to six month commitment, starting at the first training session.

Community Climate Leaders will receive the skills and training to host local dialogues and create action plans to save money and energy, and encourage action against climate change.
