Cannery West Park is a linear park and part of the Steveston Greenways trail network in the South Dyke / Steveston area. Running parallel to Paramount Pond and Dyke Road, this green space is considered a natural area park with longer grasses, benches and short bridges over sloughes and ditches. The park also acts as a buffer zone between extensive condo and town house development on the north side and active commercial fishing activity to the south, providing access to the waterfront with views to fish boats, docks, marine activity and Shady Island.
