The West Dyke Trail is located along the western shore of Richmond between Terra Nova Rural Park to the north and Garry Point Park to the south. The trail follows the dike and offers opportunities for active recreation such as cycling, running and walking. Expansive views of the Fraser River, the Salish Sea, Vancouver Island and Howe Sounds can be enjoyed from this trail. Amenities include benches, interpretation signage and water fountains as well as opportunities for bird watching. The trail can be accessed from multiple points along its entire length.
