Biography
Alberto Replanski, 1939 to 2008.
Alberto Replanski was a professional sculptor whose work has won many awards and has been exhibited internationally. He is a graduate of the national School of Fine Arts (Drawing Major) and the Superior School of Fine Arts (BFA Sculpture), Buenos Aires, Argentina. He completed postgraduate studies in sculpture at the academy Ernesto de la Carcova and the Faculty of fine arts, Argentina.
Alberto held several one-man shows and participated in numerous joint and group exhibitions. He has traveled for gallery work-shops and seminars as far afield as Mexico, Isreal and Montreal. His works are in private and public collections. Some of the them were commissioned and installed in public places as well as in universities.
In 1994, he set up the "Living Stone" studio in Vancouver, BC. He was an instructor at the Vancouver Academy of Art.
