Join exhibiting artist Karilynn Ming Ho for a discussion of her newest work featured in Richmond Art Gallery's exhibit, a video work that uses the framework of a love story to critically examine AI technology and its complex impacts on the human condition.

Drawing from her artist residency in Japan and ongoing research into artificial intelligence, the work explores the increasingly blurred boundaries between human connection, desire and machine-generated realities.

Alongside insights into her current artwork, Ming Ho will share personal reflections on how motherhood reframes artistic practice from disrupted studio time to evolving materials, themes and methods of production. What does it mean to make work within structures of childcare, repetition and limited time?
