Agriculture is a vital part of Richmond’s cultural and economic story. With over 200 active farms, thriving restaurants and a strong connection to land and food, Richmond is a hub for urban agriculture and unique culinary experiences.

To honour this legacy, Richmond Farm Fest returns in 2026 as a signature community event. Held at the Garden City Lands, a 136.5-acre urban park featuring natural spaces, community gardens and the KPU Farm, the festival highlights local agriculture, food and community.
