Palmer/Garden City Neighbourhood School Park is a 26.7 acre sports oriented park in the South Arm area. R.C. Palmer Secondary and Garden City Elementary Schools are located in this park. The park hosts sports fields, ball diamonds, tennis courts and portable bleachers near the ball diamonds. In addition to the sports amenities, there are two playgrounds for one for children and one designed more for toddlers. There is also an extensive paved path system throughout the park.
