Description of Work

The sculpture was fabricated out of mild steel. It was then powder coated, initially with a zinc primer, followed by a polyurethane architectural top coat.

Artist Statement

We Three is an interactive sculpture comprised of three wave-shaped forms that invites users to climb, straddle, slide and play within the space it carves out. The forms connect the user to the landscape of the ocean and low water table that Richmond sits upon.
