Dawn Lo

Biography

Dawn Lo is an illustrator who graduated from Emily Carr University of Art + Design. She paints, illustrates, silkscreens and enjoys making handmade books too. Much of her work is inspired by her childhood, her surroundings and little everyday moments that she strongly desires to capture. With both an adoration of the eccentricity of comics and the highly stylistic aesthetic of screen-printing, gouache, and watercolour, she aims to create artwork that is high-spirited and inventive, whimsical and visual yet retains an endearing simplicity.
