Biography
Javier Marín was born in Uruapan, in the Michoacin region of Mexico. He is one of the foremost Mexican figurative sculptors whose work has been exhibited in Mexico City, Madrid, Paris, Milan and has participated in the 50th Venice Biennial and the Hague Sculpture among other prominent exhibitions. Marin’s Heads have been exhibited in Pietrasanta, Madrid, and Mexico City before making their way to Richmond.
