Join us for the launch of two exciting new exhibitions at the Annex Gallery and Richmond Art Gallery. Don’t miss this chance to connect with the artists! Refreshments will be served.

1:00-2:00pm | Annex Gallery Meet Richmond-based artists Fanny Tang and Debra Zhou for the opening of Tides Within at The Annex Gallery. Their artworks display introspective visual languages shaped by the aesthetics of Chinese ink brush painting.

2:00pm | Richmond Art Gallery, Welcome Speeches and Tour Take part in an informal tour of The Chromophiliacs with curator Zoë Chan and several exhibiting artists. This vibrant group exhibition showcases artists Diyan Achjadi, Moozhan Ahmadzadegan, Maru Aponte, Sandeep Johal, Yaimel López Zaldívar, Laura Meza Orozco, Osvaldo Ramirez Castillo, Malina Sintnicolaas, Charlene Vickers and Jan Wade whose use of colour is central to their practice.

Richmond Art Gallery is located in the Richmond Cultural Centre.

The Annex Gallery is located directly across the plaza from the Cultural Centre’s front entrance.
