39th Annual Halloween Festival – Creepy Carnival Edition
Richmond proudly continues its tradition as one of the few municipalities in the Lower Mainland to host a free fireworks display on Halloween night. Now in its 39th year, this exciting annual celebration will take place at Minoru Park (7191 Granville Avenue).
Date & Time:
Friday, October 31st
6:30pm – 9:15pm
This year’s theme is “Creepy Carnival”, and the event promises a thrilling evening packed with entertainment and spooky fun for all ages. Guests will enjoy a live performance from the Show Stoppers Glee Club, setting the tone for a festive night. Throughout the park, roving performers, jugglers, and stilt walkers will bring the carnival atmosphere to life, while fire performers and acrobats deliver high-energy spectacles that are sure to amaze.
Families can take part in carnival-style games, and marvel at the artistry of professional pumpkin carvers. A giant pumpkin display from KPU will be featured, offering a perfect photo opportunity. To satisfy every craving, six food trucks will be on-site serving up delicious eats.
Kids (and kids at heart!) can look forward to over 10,000 pieces of candy being handed out throughout the evening. The night will conclude with a spectacular fireworks finale at 9:00pm, lighting up the sky above Minoru Park.
This is a free, family-friendly event suitable for all ages. Costumes are encouraged; so come celebrate Halloween at Richmond’s very own Creepy Carnival!
