Description of Work

This intense red circular artwork provides us with an elegant decorative form full of curves and movement. The contained circular form is rhythmic and undulating, creating a sense of a waving motion within.

This artwork was a temporary installation and part of the Vancouver International Biennale 2009-2011.

Artist Statement

Olas de Viento, a temporary installation at Garry Point Park, has become a buoy in the natural environment and a beacon to fisherman on their return home.

Much of Domenge’s work references nature, architecture and a fascination with form and geometry.
