Bid documents may be accessed on this site and downloaded at your convenience. Formal bids (Request for Quotations and Request for Proposals) which are posted at this site have an expected value of over $100,000, although the City reserves the right to post any bid as required. The City advertises bidding opportunities on the British Columbia Government's web site, BC Bid (www.bcbid.ca). Bid documents can be obtained directly from Purchasing (Tel: 604-276-4270) or email: purchasing@richmond.ca.
Tenders are also advertised on BC Bid. For retrieval of advertised Request for Tender documents, bidders will be required to pick up documents at the Richmond City Hall, 6911 No. 3 Road, Richmond, B.C. Tender documents are available for a non-refundable fee of $50.
Bid Documents
Bid documents may be downloaded directly from this website OR obtained from Purchasing (Tel: 604-276-4270) or email: purchasing@richmond.ca.
For further information/clarification on active requests please refer to the individual request for applicable contact names.
Bids must be returned to the location as set out in the bid document, in a sealed envelope or package, no later than the "Closing Date and Time" set out in the document. Bid documents received after the closing time will be returned unopened.
Purchasing will not accept responses via Internet, e-mail or fax except when the bid document specifically states that one or more of these modes of response is acceptable.
Bid Results
Names of the successful bidder and the value of the contract will be posted on the City's website and BC Bid (www.bcbid.ca).
Alteration of Documents
Bidders may not electronically alter any portion of a downloaded document with the exception of adding information as requested; to do so will render the bidder's submission invalid.
Ownership of Documents
All bid documents issued by the City are the sole property of the City and may not be copied or sold to other parties without express authorization of the Manager - Purchasing.
Amendments and Addendums
It is the responsibility of each potential bidder to check the City's website and/or BC Bid, on a regular basis for amendments, addendums or questions relating to specific/active requests.
