Extreme Weather Response for Winter 2023/2024

For the 2023/2024 winter season, the City partnered with local service providers to provide two Warming Centres. These spaces provided a place for individuals experiencing homelessness to rest, have warm drinks or snacks, and access referrals to other services.

The Brighouse Warming Centre and the South Arm Warming Centre closed for the season on April 15, 2024.

For additional information, please contact Richmond House Emergency Shelter at 604-276-2490 or the Drop-in Centre at 604-644-1418.
