​The items listed below are accepted for free drop-off for Richmond residents at the Recycling Depot.

  • Nickel Cadmium (Ni-Cd)
  • Nickel Metal Hydride (Ni-MH)
  • Lithium Ion (Li-Ion)
  • Nickel Zinc (N-Zn)
  • Small Sealed Lead Acid (SSLA/Pb)
  • Lithium Primary
  • Alkaline (AA, AAA, 9V, etc.)
  • Cell phones (and their batteries) - all types

Please tape terminals on the lithium batteries or bag each one separately.​

  • Gasoline must be returned in approved Underwriters Laboratories of Canada (ULC) container
