Single Family Water Meter Program
Volunteer to be a Part of the Richmond Water Meter Program Now
The Richmond Volunteer Water Metering Program has been extended until the end of 2013.
Neptune Technology Group (Canada) Ltd. will continue to be the City of Richmond's contractor in administering the program. The City is exploring new installation methods to address homes that were cancelled in the past. To find out more about the opportunity to volunteer if your installation was cancelled in the past, or if you live in a multi-family residence, please contact 604-276-4289.
This voluntary water meter program was endorsed by Richmond City Council, and is designed as a strategy for fairness and equity of water use. The program will provide an alternative for residents to pay only for the actual amount of water they use, rather than being billed on the flat-rate system. Find out more about the benefits of the program and volunteer!
