Celebrate Pride Week in Richmond with a variety of online events and activities planned throughout the week along with colourful window displays at various civic facilities. These inclusive and engaging online activities are open to all members of the community and are presented by the City of Richmond in partnership with Community Associations and Societies.
Pride Week is a celebration of our LGBTQ2S+ communities. It is about valuing and respecting diversity, and recognizing the importance of a safe and inclusive community for everyone.

Pride Webinar Series: A History of Pride
Monday, July 13, 1:00 to 2:00 pm
Learn about the origins of Pride, key figures in LGBTQ2S+ history and the political differences in contemporary LGBTQ2S+ communities. Join Cicely Blain, CEO of Cicely Blain Consulting and an instructor of Executive Leadership at Simon Fraser University, as she guides us through the history of Pride. Youth Dance Party

Evening PicNic In: Rainbow Shorts
Sunday, July 26, 7:00 to 8:30 pm
Set up a picnic blanket and enjoy a socially-distanced outdoor film screening of short films at Branscombe House, located at 4900 Steveston Highway in Richmond. Bring a battery-operated FM radio to tune in.
Pride and Protest with Brendan Fernandes
