Location: Richmond City Hall, 6911 No. 3 Road
Date and Time: October 25, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
Diversity’s strength lies in respecting and valuing differences. However, it can be challenging to work with people and cultures when their values, beliefs, and experiences are different from our own.
Presented by the City of Richmond, and a range of committed community partners, this year’s Diversity Symposium agenda emphasizes effective skills and tools for exploring other’s unique perspectives, creating an environment in which differences are respected and utilized, and working collaboratively with people of diverse backgrounds.
Registration is FREE and is on a first-come-first-serve basis.
You will need to register to attend the Keynote Presentation as seating is limited and will reach capacity.
In order to accommodate those who are unable to attend for the full day but would still like to take part in the Symposium, limited spaces are available to those who want to register for a workshop only.
Registration closes Friday, October 18, 2019 at 5:00 pm.
For details on the keynote and workshop sessions, refer to the 2019 Diversity Symposium Program Guide.
