Prevention, Preparedness and Response are the key components of service delivery. These components work on the underlying principle that safety is everyone’s responsibility.
The City’s primary public safety providers are Police, Fire-Rescue, Emergency Preparedness, Community Bylaws and Animal Protection Services. These providers work in partnership with other City departments and local and provincial agencies to identify needs and provide services in Richmond.
