City Fitness Centres will be open for visits on a drop-in basis from Jan 20 onwards. Physical distancing measures will be in place, which will limit the number of people permitted in the fitness areas at any given time.
Group Fitness Classes will also return at facilities throughout the City beginning Jan 20, with full restoration by Jan 24. Pre-registration will be required for fitness classes and, again, physical distancing and reduced capacity limits will be in place.

How do I reactivate my membership pass?
Complete the Membership Request Form or call the Registration Call Centre (604-276-4300, Mon-Fri, 8:30am-5:00pm). Reactivation of a membership can take up to one week.
Are outdoor sports permit holders impacted by the new guidelines?
All permit holders for organized outdoor sports must follow ViaSport's Return to Sport Restart 2.0 guidelines, which includes a COVID-19 safety plan that is specific to their sport.
Are there any additional precautions being taken for the programs that are running?
All of our programs have COVID-19 Safety Protocols in place that include adherence to all public health requirements, including enhanced cleaning and physical distancing.
Note: Masks will continue to be required when entering and inside common areas of community centres, libraries, arenas, pools, Minoru Centre for Active Living, the Cultural Centre, heritage sites, Fire-Rescue facilities and City Hall, as well as the Richmond Olympic Oval.
