Inspection Requests and Plan Review Status
We thank our customers for their continuing flexibility and patience as we find new ways of providing services while addressing the health and safety needs of our employees, our customers and our community. Please refer to this website for additional information as we evaluate service and process changes. Until further notice, please continue to observe COVID-19 safety protocols as established by updated Provincial Health Orders.General Information Regarding Inspections
Each inspection is scheduled for the next business day if scheduled prior to 8:00pm. The cut-off time to cancel an inspection is 7:00am. Every effort will be made to do inspections for the day scheduled. But, because of differences in the time spent at each site, it is not possible to guarantee requests for a.m. or p.m. In periods of high volumes of inspection requests, additional delays may be encountered.
COVID-19 Update: Permit holders and/or owners must refer to On-Site Inspections during COVID-19 for safety requirements for Occupied Buildings. In addition, we ask contractors to wear their masks in all indoor City-operated facilities until advised otherwise.
Front counter services are currently not available to the public. The Inspectors are available between 8:15 - 9:00 am or between 4:15 - 5:00 pm by phone or by email. Refer to your permit for the Inspectors name, phone number and email. For detailed information, visit our Bulletin Info-09.
