Youth Week
Youth Week is a provincial celebration of youth held annually during the first week of May. It is intended to build a strong connection between young people and their communities and to profile the issues, accomplishments and diversity of youth across the province.
As part of BC Youth Week, the City of Richmond and its Community Partners host a number of free or low-cost events. These fun and interactive events are a great way for youth to spend time with friends in a safe, youth-friendly environment and celebrate being a young person in Richmond.
Every year during BC Youth Week the City hosts the U-ROC (Richmond Outstanding Community) Youth Awards to celebrate the achievements and dedication of Outstanding Youth and Asset Champions within the Richmond community. To find out more, check out U-ROC Awards.
