Fitness Centre Now Open
Welcome back! Register for a 75-minute fitness visit. All facilities are operating with increased safety measures and physical distancing in place.
- Pre-registration is required; no drop-ins permitted. Register in advance online or call the Registration Call Centre at 604-276-4300, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm.
- Register for the following week’s session starting at 10:00am on the Monday prior.
- Regular admission prices apply with payment required at the time of booking.

Memberships can now be reactivated!
Reactivate your membership for required registration for fitness classes and fitness centre visits at community centres, and fitness classes, fitness centre visits and swim sessions at the Minoru Centre for Active Living. This includes 10-visit cards for Minoru Centre for Active Living; 10-visit cards for community centres remain on hold until further notice. To complete the reactivation form click here.

Thompson Fitness Centre Schedule
Thompson Community Centre offers a number of options for accessing fitness programs including a drop-in fee or purchasing a Visit Card or Fitness Centre pass, as well as offering programs for registration. See the Fitness Fees section for more information.
Fitness Centre Orientation
Book an orientation to the Fitness Centre with a BCRPA registered Weight Trainer and learn proper techniques for equipment use and Fitness Centre etiquette. Call 604-238-8434 to book an appointment.
Information for youth participants (13-18 years):
Youth 13 to 15 years old are required to complete a Youth Fitness Centre Orientation prior to attending the first session. Youth orientations can be booked by calling the Fitness Coordinator at their preferred location and only needs to be completed once for eligibility to exercise at all centres. To register for an exercise session, call the Registration Call Centre to verify this requirement has been met.
Youth 13 to 18 years old are required to submit a completed Informed Consent and Permission Form for Youth Fitness Centre Access prior to attending the Fitness Centre.

PAR-Q+ (The Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire for Everyone)
When you take part in any fitness activity at a City facility you will be asked to: complete a PAR-Q+; read the large poster version of the form or confirm you have completed the online version of the questionnaire; or complete and print the form here PAR-Q Form. This form is designed to identify people for whom a change in physical activity may pose a risk.
