Children's Parties (1-12 years)
Come celebrate your child's special day at South Arm Community Centre. Two children’s party leaders will lead your child and their friends through a choice of activities including crafts, games and face painting. The hosts will set up and take down all equipment and decorations that are provided as part of the party package. Also included in the package is an outdoor public playground and outdoor basketball court to use during the party.
Children's Party Availability:
$154 plus tax for up to 15 kids 1-12 years old.
This package includes the use of the Lounge for up to two hours, basic decorations that include banner, balloons and tablecloths and one Children’s Party Leader that will assist for the duration of the party and run activities.
Maximum number is 40 people including children and adults.
$198 plus tax for up to 25 kids 1-12 years old.
This package includes the use of the Lounge for up to two hours, basic decorations that include banner, balloons and tablecloths; two Children’s Party Leader that will assist for the duration of the party and run activities.

- Use of the gymnasium, open gym equipment and the indoor rock climbing wall (Sundays 3:00-4:00pm only) $50.00 hour plus tax
- Compostable cutlery and utensils $20.00 plus tax
- Extra hour $60.00 hour plus tax
Children’s Party requests are accepted a minimum of two weeks to a maximum of eight weeks in advance. For more information, call 604-238-8073.
General Rental Information
- Room rental requests must be made at least two to four weeks in advance.
- Space is not guaranteed until full payment is received.
- Full payment must be made upon booking to reserve space.
- Tables and chairs are provided for user to set up and take down.
The rooms are available for rent during opening hours:
Fall, Winter, Spring Hours
Monday-Friday: 6:00 am-10:00 pm
Saturday/Sunday: 7:30 am-9:00 pm
Costs: $40.00 per hour plus tax
Minimum one hour rental

Maximum capacity: 80 people

Rate: $425.00 plus tax for event time 6:00pm-1:00am on Saturdays only
Maximum capacity: 200 people OR 160 with dancing
Damage Deposit: $200.00 OR $500.00 plus tax based on assessed risk
Set-up time: Negotiable
* additional event time $50.00/hour
Special events liability insurance is required. Minimum liability must be $2 million and the City of Richmond and South Arm Community Association must be named as additional insured.
Events with liquor present must also obtain a liquor permit and the insurance policy must state Host Liquor Liability.
Tables/Chairs: Commissionaire oversees and assists with set up of tables and chairs for event. There are 25 round tables that are 60" in diameter (seat 8 people) and three rectangular tables that are 3' x 8'.
