Birthdays and Facility Rentals
Come celebrate your child's special day at South Arm Community Centre. Two birthday party hosts will lead your child and their friends through a choice of activities including crafts, games and face painting. The hosts will set up and take down all equipment and decorations that are provided as part of the birthday party package. Also, there is an outdoor public playground and outdoor basketball court available for use during the party.
Birthday Party Availability:
11:00 am-1:00 pm
$154 plus tax for up to 15 kids ages 1-12 years.
This includes the use of the Birthday Party room for two hours plus basic decorations-banner, streamers, balloons and tablecloths. Maximum number is 40 people including children and adults.
$198 plus tax for up to 25 kids ages 1-12 years.
This includes the use of the Birthday Party room plus basic decorations - banner, streamers, balloons and tablecloths. Maximum number is 40 people including children and adults.
- Use of the gymnasium, open gym equipment and the indoor rock climbing wall (Sundays 3-4pm only) $50 hour plus tax
- Compostable cutlery and utensils $20 plus tax
- Extra hour $60 hour plus tax
General Rental Information
- Room rental requests must be made at least two to four weeks in advance
- Space is not guaranteed until full payment is received
- Full payment must be made upon booking to reserve space
- Tables and chairs are provided for user to set up and take down

Costs: $40 per hour plus tax

Set-up time: Negotiable
* additional event time $50/hour
Special events liability insurance is required. Minimum liability must be $2 million and the City of Richmond and South Arm Community Association must be named as additional insured.
Events with liquor present must also obtain a liquor permit and the insurance policy must state Host Liquor Liability.
Tables/Chairs: Commissionaire oversees and assists with set up of tables and chairs for event. There are 25 round tables that are 60" in diameter (seat 8 people) and three rectangular tables that are 3' x 8'.
