In order to secure a space(s), a $50 non-refundable fee will be applied to each class registered for.

Term & Age Requirements
The preschool term is September to June with winter and spring break vacation. Open registration for the 2022/2023 preschool year is ongoing. For all licensed preschools, children must turn the required age by December 31, 2022.
Preschools
South Arm Community Centre offers two licensed preschools - Child's World Preschool and Preschool Parade. Both programs are play-based learning and designed to develop the whole child intellectually, socially, physically, emotionally and cognitively. Both preschools offer a licensed program that provides a safe and friendly transition between home and school. A diverse setting is offered in which children of various cultures and backgrounds can share and learn about each other. Teachers are qualified and experienced in Early Childhood Education and are certified in CPR and First Aid.

Children can be signed up for more than one preschool program, up to a maximum of five sessions per week and one session per day.

Out of School Care (OSC)
Quality licensed school age care is provided for children 5 to 12 years, Kindergarten to Grade 7. The OSC programs are staffed by energetic and creative instructors who support children in a fun and nurturing environment. All programs adhere to government regulations and work closely with Richmond Health Services and South Arm Programs

The Kindergarten to Grade 2 OSC program is located at the South Arm Hall and the Grade 3-7 OSC program is located at South Arm Community Centre. Care is provided for students from William Bridge, Walter Lee, James Whiteside and Howard Debeck Elementary schools.
This Program operates from September through June, Monday to Friday, 7:00 to 9:00am and 2:00 to 6:00pm and during most holidays. Summer daycamps are offered in July and August.
