Adult Recreational Hockey

Adult Recreational Hockey
All programs below are suspended until further notice
Richmond Arenas provides opportunities for adults (19 years and older) to play in recreational drop-in hockey programs and organized hockey leagues. To prevent injuries, the City of Richmond strongly recommends that a full hockey equipment and a CSA approved hockey helmet be worn for all hockey programs. Proof of age is required.

Adult Stick & Puck
This drop-in program focuses on individual skill and development for those 19 years and older. No games allowed. Players must use their own sticks and pucks. To help prevent injuries, the wearing of a CSA approved hockey helmet is mandatory for participation in this program. Proof of age is required.

Adult Stick & Wheel
This drop-in program takes place on the dry floor with roller blades. Players must use their own sticks, pucks and roller blades. The City of Richmond strongly recommends wearing a CSA approved hockey helmet to prevent injuries. Proof of age is required.

Adult Recreational Drop-In Hockey
This recreational drop-in hockey program is for those 19 years and older. To help prevent injuries, the wearing of full hockey equipment and a CSA approved hockey helmet is mandatory for participation in this program. Proof of age is required.

Adult Beginner/Senior Drop-In Hockey
This recreational drop-in hockey program is for adults (19+ years) who are new to hockey or 55 years and older. To help prevent injuries, the wearing of full hockey equipment and a CSA approved hockey helmet is mandatory for participation in this program. Proof of age is required.

How to Register
All facilities are operating with increased safety measures and physical distancing in place.

  • Pre-registration is required; no drop-ins permitted.
  • Visit the Program Registration page, click on the BROWSE AND REGISTER button and browse Registered Visits at Minoru Arenas or Richmond Ice CentreRegister online or call the Registration Call Centre at 604-276-4300, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm.
  • Registration for the following week’s sessions starts online at 6:00am and through the Registration Call Centre at 8:30am on the Monday one week prior.
  • Regular admission fees apply with payment required at time of booking.
