Richmond civic services closed Victoria Day long weekend

15 May 2020

City of Richmond civic services will be closed as usual from Saturday, May 16 through Monday, May 18 for the Victoria Day long weekend. While civic services will resume at 8:15 a.m. on Tuesday, May 19, public access to City Hall buildings and the Works Yard will remain closed as part of the City's COVID-19 prevention measures.

The Registration Call Centre will also be closed through the long weekend.

Many services are always accessible through the City of Richmond’s website at www.richmond.ca. These online services include a variety of transactions, interactive tools and data searches. In addition, most information, forms, bulletins and flyers are also available on the website.

For emergencies such as broken water mains, sewer problems, downed trees on roads, traffic lights out or other problems of this nature, please call the City’s 24-hour Emergency Line at 604‑270-8721. You can also stay updated by following the City on TwitterFacebook and Instagram.

The City encourages people to do their part in preventing the spread of COVID-19. As many of us plan for the long weekend, please remember to stay local, avoid all non-essential travel and continue to practice physical distancing. If you plan to enjoy the outdoors, maintain at least a two metre distance from others and help prevent crowding by visiting City parks and trails during off-peak times or stick to your neighbourhood. Community ambassadors will be patrolling parks to reinforce physical distancing.
