City of Richmond calls Special Council Meeting for March 30, 2020

Please be advised that public notice is hereby given of a Special Council Meeting duly called in accordance with section 126 of the Community Charter, to be held on:

  • Date:  Monday, March 30, 2020
  • Time:  4:00 p.m.
  • Place:  Anderson Room, Richmond City Hall, 6911 No. 3 Road

At this meeting, Council will consider the Final Adoption of the Utility Amendment Bylaws in order to extend the 2020 flat rate utility due date to June 30, 2020. In addition, Council will consider the Final Adoption of a Council Procedure Amendment Bylaw to enable Council members to participate by electronic means at Regular Council Meetings for Public Hearings and Standing Committees.

The Special Council Meeting Agenda will be posted to the website no later than Friday, March 27, 2020.

The health and wellness of our residents, staff and Council remain our priority. Measures will be taken at the meeting to respect physical distancing guidelines and adhere to recommended preventative measures to limit the spread of COVID-19.
