Richmond launches online snapshot of how the City guides growth and development

16 November 2020

The City of Richmond is introducing a convenient online hub to provide snapshots of a number of City initiatives which help ensure it is a thriving place to live, work and do business now and for generations to come.

City Snapshots: Planning for Growth and Development gives an overview of initiatives in four City departments – planning and development, transportation, affordable housing and sustainability.

The public will discover a variety of topics such as road network improvements, updates on agricultural land policies, commitments to housing for all and ongoing efforts to address climate change. Visitors can also view City policies and plans. All the information provided, and more, helps guide ongoing and future development and change in Richmond.

City Snapshots: Planning for Growth and Development will be open from Monday, November 16 to Sunday, December 6. Visit LetsTalkRichmond.ca to explore, ask questions and leave comments.

Feedback received will be combined and included in a summary report and shared with City Council in early 2021. Future City Snapshots are planned for 2021.
