Richmond Culture Days kicks off with virtual and in-person activities

25 September 2020

Richmond Culture Days has kicked its month-long cultural celebration of arts and culture featuring Richmond-based artists, groups and organizations. Starting this Friday, September 25 through to Sunday, October 25, take part in free or “pay what you may” (PWYM) activities happening virtually and in-person across the city. In-person events will be adhering to COVID-19 physical distancing guidelines.

Culture Days is a national celebration of arts and culture. Each year, millions of people across the country attend participatory events and art-filled activities across the country. This year, Richmond-based artists and groups are finding unique and safe ways to come together while apart. While the annual Culture Days event is always a great way to celebrate creativity in our own communities, adding digital options this year has the added benefit of allowing participants to share their work across the country.

Visit culturedays.ca for details about arts and culture activities, online live-stream events, digital content and self-guided programs. All in-person events and activities will have relevant COVID-19 health protocols and measures listed on the event page.
