Richmond civic services closed Remembrance Day

City of Richmond civic services will be closed Wednesday, November 11 for Remembrance Day.
While civic services will resume at 8:15 a.m. on Thursday, November 12, public access to City Hall (with the exception of tax and utility payments), the Works Yard and select other facilities will remain closed due as part of the City's response to COVID-19. This Remembrance Day, the City is encouraging residents to participate virtually in the City of Richmond's online ceremony to honour the individuals who gave their lives to serve and protect Canada. Please refrain from gathering at City Hall. Instead, Remember In Place wherever you are at 11am. A live broadcast of the closed ceremony will be available to watch from home at http://richmond.ca/remember.
While civic services are closed, many services are always accessible through the City of Richmond’s website at www.richmond.ca. These online services include a variety of transactions, interactive tools and data searches. In addition, most information, forms, bulletins and flyers are also available on the website.
For emergencies such as broken water mains, sewer problems, downed trees on roads, traffic lights out or other problems of this nature, please call the City’s 24-hour Emergency Line at 604 270-8721. To register and view the schedule of available fitness centre sessions, swim times, as well as other available recreation programs, please visit www.richmond.ca/register. Please note: The City of Richmond Call Centre and Registration Call Centre and will also be closed through the long weekend.
