South Arm offers new community art display opportunities
19 April 2016
Visual artists of all levels are invited to submit artworks for public display at South Arm Community Centre. Works may include paintings, drawings, photographs and other art pieces displayed in frames.
This community art display, with its inaugural show scheduled to run September through December, aims to promote the development of visual arts as well as provide local exhibition space to those artists that live in Richmond and the Lower Mainland.
Call to Artist information is now available with a deadline of May 31. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis with preference given to Richmond artists.
There will be four shows between September 2016 and August 2017, with each exhibition running for two to three months. Each show will display between six and eight two-dimensional artwork mediums displayed in frames. No free-standing pieces will be exhibited.
