Jack Trovato is a well-respected educator and community activist. He has spearheaded the petition campaign for the restriction of house sizes on farmland, the petition to approve the Acute Care Tower at Richmond Hospital, and has worked tirelessly advocating for adequate funding for our public education system. He has advocated on behalf of our community at all three levels of government.
Jack holds a B.A., B.Ed., and a M.Ed. from SFU and UBC. He has been honoured with several professional accolades, and is a national recipient of the Prime Minister’s Award for Teaching Excellence.
A proud Richmond resident for over 40 years, Jack holds a deep appreciation for our community’s rich cultural diversity. He has spent much of his life fighting for better public education and empowering our youth. Now he’s ready take the next step for our community—as a strong voice for our priorities at City Hall.
