Steveston Alive! Walking Tour Vignettes
Saturdays in July and August 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm
The Steveston Historical Society, together with the Steveston Museum, are pleased to present our third season of Steveston Alive! Walking Tour Vignettes – a play in five parts - during a walking tour of Steveston. Through these vignettes, residents and visitors alike will learn about what makes Steveston unique, and about how its early immigrants overcame hardship, and learned to live and work together in this diverse community.
This year, the vignettes will be acted by talented drama students from Steveston-London Secondary School, with returning cast members from Hugh McRoberts Secondary
Tours will leave from Steveston Museum twice daily on Saturdays in July and August, at 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm.
Tickets are $12. Children under 12 are free of charge when accompanied by a paying adult (maximum 2 free children per paying adult).

Go back in time on an interactive walking tour, stopping at four celebrated historic attractions Britannia Shipyards National Historic Site, the Steveston Tram, Steveston Museum, and the Gulf of Georgia Cannery National Historic Site. You’ll hear eye-opening tales of yesteryear village life, as told by a chatty fisherman who seems to have just stepped from the streets of 1914. Carefully chosen food and beverage tastings will be served at each location. Bus transportation is provided between Britannia Shipyards and Steveston Village and then back to Britannia Shipyards.19+ Only.

Customized Guided Walking Tours
Steveston Museum offers guided historical walking tours of Steveston Village to groups. These walks are based on the existing Steveston Stories and Murder, Mayhem and Morality walking tours, and can be tailored to meet your group’s interest.
Bookings are taken throughout the year. The walks last around 60 minutes and cost $5 per person with a 12 person minimum. They can be booked by calling the Museum Coordinator at 604-718-8439 or filling out our online booking form.
