Public Art Plans
Public Art Plans have been created through consultation with planners, art and design experts, and members of the community. Their purpose is to assist City staff, private developers and communities to identify potential collaborations to larger projects within an area of Richmond or projects that span property and neighbourhood boundaries.
Capstan Village Public Art Plan
The Capstan Village Public Art plan was officially endorsed by Council on March 12, 2018. The Capstan Village Public Art Plan supplements Richmond's City Centre Public Art Plan and should be read as a companion document. Both art plans identify arts, culture and heritage as core values, integral to quality of life, health and wellbeing, social cohesion and economic development.
Minoru Civic Precinct Public Art Plan
